We help Munich!
Even in such a wealthy city like Munich, there is abject poverty. This affects young and old, families and children who survive barely. The Foundation "We help Munich" will combat this need and provides that Munich will be liveable for everybody.
The first production project will benefit children in Munich, who have no sports apparel to be able to participate in school sports. For this the founders have already collected 155 000 €. From 3100 this sum, vouchers of 50 € will be distributed to needy children.from the Social Services Department, City of Munich. These vouchers can be be purchased at the Kaufhof at the Marienplatz for useful sports clothing for children.
The special feature of "We help Munich"is that businesses and consumers declare their willingness to donate a portion of their profits or income for the good cause. The more companies participate, the more is known, the Foundation, the closer the connection between the Munich-based economic and the local scholarships.
Sponsors who agree to provide the foundation for three years each to donate at least 10,000 € each will be members of the Board of Trustees. These include already: Dr. Rudolf Gröger, Prof. Dr. Roland Berger, Prof. Dr. Hubert Burda, Klaus Dittrich, Georg Fahrenschon (Minister of State), Alexander Hofmann, Prof. Dr. Elisabeth Merk (Urban Councillor), Dr. Eberhard Sasse and Martin Zeil (Bavarian Minister of Economic Affairs).
Dr. Stephan Heller personally appoints for the new Foundation. I'm from Munich, I was born here, I have grew up and now I’m happy. I feel very close to the city closely and I want to give back some of the mellowness and the affluence that I have experienced here.
